DeltaARTS
Strategic Vision

DeltaARTS serves as an arts laboratory for the Delta, where we cultivate a vibrant creative ecosystem through three integrated pillars of stewardship. We catalyze Community Art Activations and Education by deploying traditional arts and emerging technologies to bridge the divide and preserve our city’s cultural heritage while looking ahead to its digital future. This innovation is anchored in our professional Theatre and Performing Arts programming, where our Black Box serves as a physical and digital bridge between ancestral storytelling and 21st-century performance. Finally, we remain deeply committed to our foundational legacy through Wolf Trap Early Childhood Education, utilizing world-class, arts-integrated models to ensure that our youngest creators are equipped with the creative confidence to navigate and lead in a rapidly evolving technological landscape.

Delta Wolf Trap

Institute for Early Learning through the Arts

Additional services offered through Delta Wolf Trap include Family Engagement Workshops available to early childhood centers, libraries, children's museums, and organizations focused on supporting parents with young children. These interactive family workshops provides parents and caregivers opportunities to engage in a live arts experience with their children and learn to play with their children in educational ways that support kindergarten readiness.

Professional Development Workshops may be available for early childhood centers with aim to provide annual training on research-based practices of instruction. In-person and virtual workshops provide early educators with hands-on teaching strategies and active learning techniques that support literacy and language development, STEM learning, problem-solving, social-emotional development, classroom management, and more.
